Syracuse athletics has announced that the Orange women’s basketball team are scheduled to face the Siena Saints on Monday, Nov. 14 in the Carrier Dome at 7 p.m. ET.
Siena, located in Albany, N.Y., will be the second game of the year for an Orange team coming off of their best season in school history. Some of that success can be credited to head coach Quentin Hillsman, who was an assistant coach at Siena from 1999-2001.
The last time the two teams met was in 2008, when Syracuse guard Chandrea Jones scored 33 points to help lead the Orange past the Saints in an 89-75 victory.
The Orange will open the season at home against Rhode Island on November 11 at 3 p.m. Later in the season, they’ll participate in the Gulf Coast Showdown with Florida Gulf Coast, Ohio State and George Washington, and the ACC/Big Ten Challenge against Michigan State. The Orange have also announced a game with Coppin State in December.
As always, we’ll keep you updated with more schedule information as it becomes available.
