Get to know Syracuse’s newest walk-on Quarterback who grew up just minutes from Miami’s campus.

Name: Anthony Mohammed “Mo” Hasan

Position: Quarterback

Year: Freshman

Height: 6’ 3”

Weight: 186lbs.

Hometown: Coral Gables, Fla.

High School: Dillard

2015 Stats: Senior year at Dillard high school Hasan threw for 2,500 yards and 20 TD’s and was selected to second team All-Broward County.

2016 Projections: Hasan doesn't figure to see any playing time this year, unless their is a ridiculous amount of injuries at Quarterback.

How’d He Get Here?: Hasan was rated the 79th dual-threat QB in the class of 2016. Hasan passed on offers from Howard and Lehigh.

What’d The Recruiting Sites Say?: Three stars from 247, he wasn't rated by the others.

Money Quote: He explained why he committed when he did to Syracuse.com’s Stephen Bailey:

“After talking with my parents and coaches, we felt like it was the best fit for me,” Hasan said, “and I decided to commit as soon as I realized that it was the place I wanted to be.”

Links of Wonder: Hasan was high on Syracuse when his teammates committed, and when the coaching staff offered him a “premium preferred walk-on” spot.
