ACC Network Extra officially arrives this Friday, August 19. You’ve heard all about how ESPN and the ACC would be launching digitally this fall, three years before an actual cable/satellite network in 2019. Now that digital network is here, per a release from the ACC today.

Current users with access to Watch ESPN and the ESPN app will get immediate access to the Olympic sports content set to air on the digital network. According to the ACC, 331 events will air this fall, all in Olympic sports (so not football or basketball). They’re the first of a total of more than 600 games to air on ACC Network Extra during the 2016-17 academic year.

Syracuse will not appear on ACC Network Extra until September 9, when Orange men’s soccer visits NC State. A total of 16 Orange men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball and field hockey games will appear on ACC network Extra during the fall season.

If you’re interested in just checking out the new network to see what things look like (probably a similar broadcast to ACC Network/ACC Digital Network properties right now), you can watch Duke women’s soccer host Wofford at 5 p.m. ET this Friday. Full schedule (PDF) of the entire fall broadcast schedule is posted here.

Hooray for the (sort of) ACC Network!
