Every year, Syracuse Orange basketball hosts the Elite basketball camp where some of the best and brightest recruits (many of whom just so happen to hold offers or interest from SU) come to town to show off their wares.
Last year's camp features now-Orange players Tyus Battle and Matthew Moyer as well as targets Quade Green and Lonnie Walker.
This year's camp is filling up and, per CuseBlog's Ben Sigel, it's once again brimming with potentially-Orange talent.
So far, Class of 2018 recruits Khalid Moore, Mika Adams-Woods, Jeenathan Williams, Christian Hinckson, and Raheem Solomon are in as well as Class of 2019's Isaiah Stewart.
Moore doesn't have an offer but GMac is a fan. Coach Hop really liked Adams-Woods but he might reclassify. Williams was impressive at BACNY Summer Hoops. Hinckson has interest from a few top schools. Solomon is considered a Top 150 player in the class by most recruiting services. And Stewart is a 6-foot-7 Rochester product who put up 41 points in a game this past January.
SU targets Jordan Tucker and Alex O'Connell will not be attending but O'Connell has set a date for an official visit in September while the Orange staff continues to push hard for Tucker's services.
The Elite camp will be held on August 27.
