Get to know your Orange man - No. 14, WR Kenterius Womack

Let’s find out more about this QB turned DB turned Special Teamer turned WR...

NCAA Football: Central Michigan at Syracuse Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Name: Kenterius Womack

Position: Wide Receiver

Year: Sophomore

Height: 6-1

Weight: 181 lbs

Hometown: Luverne, Ala.

High School: Luverne

2015 Stats: Played in all 12 games and tallied up seven tackles, mostly on special teams.

2016 Projections: Womack performed pretty well in the spring game with five receptions for 82 yards and one touchdown. However we still might not know where Womack will line up. He’s rotated between wide receiver, defensive back, special teams, and quarterback while at Syracuse. I wouldn’t be shocked if he lines up in some sort of trick play formation and maybe gets a chance to use his arm. I’d expect he’ll continue on special teams and maybe get to play some outside receiver every now and then.

How’d He Get Here: He’s from a tiny school in Alabama, so he didn’t get a lot of notice in recruiting until right around when Syracuse found him. UConn, Army, Nevada, and Eastern Michigan all sent him offers, among others, and there was interest from Michigan and Arizona.

What’s Recruiting Sites Say: Not ranked.

Interesting Nugget O’Interest: Womack also played baseball in high school and once threw a no-hitter.
