2015 Stats: Saw action in 8 games, mostly on special teams. Tied for second on the team in special teams tackles.

2016 Projections: Ellison is third on the depth chart at the safety position, but should see plenty of time on special teams this season.

How'd He Get Here?: Chose Syracuse over offers from Rutgers, Old Dominion, Army and Boston College.

What'd Recruiting Sites Say?: He was given three stars from Scout and ESPN.

Money Quote: Here's Ellison talking about what he and good friend Dontae Strickland were looking for during their recruitment.

"Honestly, we want to be on a winning team. And we are looking for early playing time and we want to be at a place where we feel wanted."
