With Carmelo Anthony's 31-point performance last night against Australia, the former Syracuse Orange forward became the all-time leading scorer in USA Basketball history. In fact, he only needed 12 points to do so but decided to put up 31 for good measure. Anthony did this against arguably the second best team in Olympic play. When he did it, some of his current competitors and former colleagues from around the NBA took to Twitter to praise him.
@carmeloanthony is the best international player of all time!
