2015 Stats: Played quarterback, threw 40 touchdown passes and set the school record for passing yards during his time at Thousand Islands High School.

2016 Projections: Gilfus is far down on the depth chart, so it will take some injuries and poor performances for him to see the field this season.

How'd He Get Here?: Gilfus joined the Orange in January of 2016 as a preferred walk-on. He received interest from Buffalo as well as some Ivy League and Patriot League schools.

What'd Recruiting Sites Say?: Gilfus was not ranked by recruiting sites.

Money Quote: Here is Gilfus talking about the coaching change.

"I was devastated when I heard of the change in leadership, because I had no idea if my offer would stand or if it would get lost in the mix. I was very excited to get that call."
