Quarterback Tommy DeVito has said and done all the right things since committing to play for the Syracuse Orange in 2017. He had a fantastic showing at The Opening and has seen his stock rise amongst recruiting rankers.
DeVito is turning a lot of heads and one of those heads includes New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz. Cruz was looking to get some reps in before reporting to Giants camp and happened to know Leon Clarke, DeVito's private quarterbacks coach. Having heard about DeVito, the Giants' star decided to test out his arm and accuracy.
DeVito remains firmly committed to Syracuse (He told TAMU thanks but no thanks) and is one of 14 commitments in the 2017 class. With a year to go before he arrives on campus, Syracuse fans will be watching the quarterback situation closely, not to mention keeping fingers very crossed in regard to DeVito's health and status.
