After choosing him as the 49th pick in this year's NBA Draft, the Detroit Pistons have officially-signed Michael Gbinije. According to The Vertical's Shams Charania, Gbinije agreed to a three-year rookie contract with the team earlier today.

The Pistons confirmed the deal a little while ago.

Last season, Gbinije led all Syracuse Orange scorers with 647 points while also collecting 160 assists, 140 rebounds, and 71 steals. He averaged 17.5 points per game on 46.1 percent two-point field goal and 39.1 three-point field goal success rates. Mike was also a 66.3 percent free-throw shooter, good for fouth-best on last year's squad.

His career statline with the Orange ended with 1,101 points, 298 assists, 148 steals, and 350 rebounds.*

Good luck, Silent G!
