Syracuse Football: Estime, Keller, Slayton Named to Phil Steele's All-ACC Team

Always nice to see some Orange players honored.

In an offseason that's seen notoriety for Syracuse Orange football players, we add a few more honors to the list.

Phil Steele's annual preview magazine named his All-ACC team, which included three different SU players. Senior wide receiver Brisly Estime is on the second-team as a return man. He's joined by long snapper Matt Keller, who's also on the second team. Defensive tackle Chris Slayton was placed on the fourth team.

Some other SU players acknowledged this summer include Jason Emerich (Rimington, AFCA Good Works, Wuerffel Trophy), Brisly Estime and Cole Murphy (both Athlon).

Steele isn't incredibly high on the Orange this year from a W-L perspective, though he also points out the team brings back a ton (top 10 nationally) of last year's tackles (they also bring back more production than almost any team in the nation as well). Unfortunately, the offensive line is among the least-experienced in the country as well.
