Name: Kendall Moore

Position: Tight end

Year: Senior

Height: 6'5"

Weight: 241

Hometown: Chicago, Ill.

High School: Neal F. Simeon

2015 Stats: Moore entered the season switching out his TE spot for center due to depth issues but switched back to TE in August. He only played in three games last year while injuries sidelined him for the rest (a year after a concussion cost him a big chunk of 2014). He caught three passes for 31 yards.

2016 Projections: Moore enters the season at No. 2 on the post-spring depth chart behind Cam MacPherson but the two of them plus Josh Parris should all see ample playing time assuming they stay healthy. Because he's such a good blocker, that gives Moore a leg-up in terms of usefulness for this offense.

How'd He Get Here: Moore was actually committed to Western Michigan initially, but the opportunity to play tight end is what drew Moore to play at Syracuse.

What Recruiting Sights Say: 247 - 3 star, ESPN - 3 star, Scout - 3 star, Rivals - See the theme here? 3 star.

Money Quote: "Suffering a concussion is definitely a traumatic experience, especially if you've never been through anything like that. Because it's damage to the brain."

Links of Wonder: Listen to Matt Park call the game-winning touchdown play from Riley Dixon to Moore a couple years back.

Twitterfeed: N/A -- Moore actually does not tweet.

Tweets Of Wonder: Kendall Moore Sr. is a proud father.

Interesting Nugget O'Interest: Moore attended high school with former Duke basketball star Jabari Parker.
