The Syracuse softball team will head to Raleigh, N.C. to compete for an ACC Championship later this week. The Orange (27-25, 9-14) are the seventh seed in the tournament, and will take on the second-seeded Louisville Cardinals (34-14, 15-8) in the first round on Thursday, May 12.
First pitch is slated for 5 p.m ET -- the third of four games that day.
Syracuse dropped two of three to the Cardinals when the two teams met two weeks ago down in Louisville. This is the Orange's first ACC Softball Championship appearance since 2014, where they lost to Virginia Tech.

The full bracket for this year's ACC Championship is here. If the Orange can get past Louisville on Thursday evening, they'll face the winner of Notre Dame and Virginia Tech on Friday. Florida State (45-8, 21-2) is the defending champ and holds the top seed in this year's tournament.
All games can be found on ESPN3/RSN. With the single-elimination nature of the tournament, don't let Syracuse's seeding discourage you. Like every one of the ACC's eight teams, they're very much a contender this coming weekend.
