Syracuse Orange football coaches will attend a satellite camp at Paramus Catholic High School in New Jersey, Nick Baumgarner of MLive.com is reporting. The Orange will join a handful of both FBS and FCS teams in the June 8th camp:
Michigan will not work the New Jersey camp alone, though. Per the report, coaches from Boston College, Syracuse, Temple, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Villanova, and Monmouth will also be on hand.
This is the second camp we've heard Syracuse taking part of in as many days, with the announcement in their involvement in a camp at Old Dominion surfaced last week. With the rapid development of these camps since the NCAA overturned their ban on satellite camps, it's no surprise the Orange are getting involved in them. It will be interesting to see if they find any success from them.
In the case of this camp, Syracuse is essentially competing with these colleges that are there along with them, which could prove difficult to get the top talent. Still, this could absolutely a situation where Syracuse finds a recruit or two.
