Syracuse will finally try to get past Maryland in the final weekend of the season and return to the National Championship.

The No. 4 Syracuse Orange face a familiar post-season foe in the No. 1 Maryland Terrapins in the NCAA Women's Lacrosse national semifinals tonight. On the line is a spot in the National Title game on Sunday.

The game is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN3.

Syracuse is making its fifth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament semifinals and seventh in the past nine years. The Orange have an all-time record of 17-13 in NCAA Tournament play and a 2-4 mark in the semifinal round. Syracuse has advanced to the championship game twice in the last four years.

Th Terps have knocked the Orange out in three-straight Final Fours and they'll actually try to end SU's season for the sixth time in eight years. For the players, all that matters is bringing home the trophy, no matter who they have to go through.
