On the No Huddle Tour, Syracuse Orange football coach Dino Babers mentioned that Corey Winfield and Chauncey Scissum would both be ready for camp -- encouraging news considering the stabbing incident that landed the two defensive backs in the hospital so recently.
Yesterday, a tweet from Scissum seemed to reinforce the notion that he's well on his way to full health again:

That's huge news considering the original extent of his injuries had him in critical but stable condition just over a month ago.
As we've mentioned numerous times here, SU's secondary was a major weakness during the 2015 campaign, and if the defense is going to improve this fall, they'll need big leaps forward from everyone, including Scissum and Winfield. According to the post-spring depth chart, Winfield is one of two starting cornerbacks, while Scissum sits in second on the free safety two-deep.

Glad you're recovering well, Chauncey! Looking forward to seeing you and Corey on the field soon.
