Syracuse Basketball 80-1 to Win 2017 National Title

The Orange aren't exactly longshots this time around.

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

We found out Tuesday that a lot of folks expect the 2016-2017 Syracuse Orange to be pretty good, although a lot of that might have to do with what Malachi Richardson decides. Now, Vegas has laid down it's bet on what it thinks of the Orange's chances to go two games further next season and win the whole damn thing.

Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has unveiled their odds for next year and they've pegged the Orange with 80-to-1 odds to win the National Title.

In fact, here's everyone with those odds or better according to them:

Duke 9/2
Kentucky 6/1
Villanova 8/1
Louisville 10/1
Kansas 10/1
Michigan State 12/1
North Carolina 15/1
Indiana 20/1
Virginia 20/1
Xavier 20/1
Oregon 20/1
Arizona 20/1
Wisconsin 30/1
West Virginia 30/1
Maryland 40/1
Purdue 40/1
UConn 40/1
Iowa State 50/1
Miami, Fl. 50/1
Seton Hall 50/1
Texas 60/1
Gonzaga 80/1
Syracuse 80/1
UCLA 80/1
Texas A&M 80/1
Baylor 80/1
Oklahoma 80/1
Utah 80/1

Duke is clearly Vegas' favorite headed into next season. The Grayson Allen Express is sure to trip up plenty of opponents along the way.

We've got a long way to go and a lot of things will affect how the Orange enter 2016-2017, but what do you think of those odds? And given what went down this year, are you off to Vegas to place a bet just in case?
