Three-star running back Weston Bridges announced his verbal commitment to Michigan State University Wednesday. Bridges, a member of the 2017 class, was a high-profile target for Syracuse, and previously received a scholarship offer from head coach Dino Babers during a recruiting visit back in February.
Bridges announced his commitment to Michigan State in a clever Youtube video which features him conducting a variety of workouts before ultimately running to the top of his high school football field's bleachers where, through a voice over, he announces his decision.

Bridges, who is a star running back at Copley High School in Ohio, was a sought-after prospect. He received a total of 16 offers from schools across the country. Bridges previously announced on Twitter Sunday that he had trimmed his list down to five schools: Syracuse, Indiana, Michigan State, Purdue and Rutgers.
The Ohio running back is a solid pickup for the Spartans. Bridges possesses an appealing combination of both size and speed. He's listed at 6' 0.5" and 200 pounds, and his estimated 40-yard dash time is 4.46 seconds, according to Scout.
