The other day, we learned about "premium preferred walk-on" candidate Anthony "Mo" Hasan. The 6-foot-4 and 185-pound dual-threat quarterback, who gets three stars on the 247 Sports composite rankings, holds scholarship offers from Howard and Lehigh. He was offered the "preferred walk-on" gig at both the Syracuse Orange and Rutgers, with the hopes of getting a full athletic ride by sophomore year.
Ends up he's headed to U of S...
Proud to announce that I have committed to the University of Syracuse! #CuseNation pic.twitter.com/QLrco4c3Mb

Hasan makes for the latest in a series of preferred walk-ons at Syracuse and the third preferred walk-on QB added to the roster over the last few years. "The Officer" Zack Mahoney is one, while Tyler Gilfus is the other (though Gilfus was switched to wide receiver in the latest depth chart release). SU also added preferred walk-ons Otto Zaccardo and Adam Dulka this month.
As Syracuse.com's Stephen Bailey points out, Hasan is the third Dino Babers commit from Miami's Dillard High School too. Class of 2016 signees Kenneth Ruff and McKinley Williams also attended the school.

Despite the walk-on designation, that makes for five quarterbacks on the team now, with three on scholarship. If you're interested in some tape on Mo (who may have to go back to "Anthony" if Moe Neal has anything to say about it...), check it out below:
