Back in November, Jon Rothstein broke the news that the Syracuse Orange would play the South Carolina Gamecocks during the 2016-2017 season in Brooklyn. Now we know the specifics behind that matchup.
Syracuse will face South Carolina in the Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational on Saturday, November 26, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Apparently as part of the Invitational, the Orange will also host three games in the Carrier Dome. Those games will be Holy Cross (Nov. 15), Monmouth (Nov. 18) and South Carolina State (Nov. 22).
That's right, three of the four games in the Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational take place in Syracuse, NY. So very Brooklyn-y.

One final note, the Orange obviously try to get to NYC as much as possible. If they play their cards right, they could be spending a ton of time there next year.
