Syracuse Lacrosse: Commit Jamie Trimboli Selected to All-American Game

One of Syracuse Lacrosse's top commits in the class of 2016 has already been selected to the Under Armor All-America game.

Jamie Timboli has been committed to Syracuse lacrosse since 2013. Timboli is a midfielder from Victor, N.Y., who happens to be the top team in the state and is also ranked nationally. Trimboli and the Blue Devils had an undefeated season last year and defeated Manhasset by a score of 17-8 in the Class B State Final. In that game, Trimboli showed why he is considered one of the nation's top prospects, notching three goals to go along with four assists.

Trimboli finished his junior campaign with 59 goals and 23 assists, playing a major role on an undefeated squad. Now he is looking to get back to the State Finals again and have another undefeated season. He is off to a hot start as the Blue Devils are 4-0 and have won every game by at least 10 goals. Trimboli has once again been a huge part of their success as he has 11 goals and five assists on the season.

Last week Trimboli was rewarded for his hard work as he was named an Under Armor All-American. He is one of the first 11 players to be selected and the only Syracuse commit thus far. The game will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at Towson University and will be televised on ESPNU at 8pm. Some of the current Syracuse players participated in the game include, Jordan Evans, Nick Weston, Nick Mellen, and Scott Firman.

Trimboli dodges very well, has a great first step, and is fast. If he is open, he can shoot with great velocity with either hand. When you combine his athleticism and shooting ability, he makes for a very dangerous player.
