Stop me if you've heard this before. The Syracuse Orange find themselves in an NCAA Tournament game where they find themselves in need of a strong second-half if they want to win. At least we know it's very possible.

The Orange trail the North Carolina Tar Heels 39-28 at halftime in the 2016 Final Four.

SU and UNC were pretty close for the first ten minutes as each team traded baskets when they weren't busy trading misses and missed free throws. Then, North Carolina started pulling away as the Orange went cold on offense. A 9-0 run put some space between the two before Michael Gbinije finally woke up and started scoring. The Orange were able to chip away at the lead for a while but UNC reasserted itself and the Orange struggled mightily from the free throw line.

Gbinije led the Orange with eight points while Malachi Richardson and Tyler Lydon each added six. The Orange are 3-of-10 from three-point range and 3-of-10 from the free throw line. They'll need to improve both in the second half.

The winner will take on the Villanova Wildcats in the National Championship game on Monday.
