2016 Final Four: Syracuse Orange vs. North Carolina Tar Heels First-Half GameThread

The 10-seed Syracuse Orange (23-13) are not supposed to be here. Hell, few people want them here. But after defeating 7-seed Dayton, 15-seed Middle Tennessee State, 11-seed Gonzaga and 1-seed Virginia, they find themselves in the Final Four for the second time in four years.

Standing in the way of their first National Championship game appearance since 2003 are the 1-seed North Carolina Tar Heels (32-6). The Heels ran roughshod over their regional and are the heavy favorites to move on over the Orange, especially since they beat SU twice in the regular season.

But if the Syracuse Orange have proven anything in the 2016 NCAA Tournament, it's that the regular season doesn't really count for much anymore.

The game tips at approximately 8:49 p.m. EST and will be televised on TBS as well as truTV for a Syracuse Team Stream.
