George Muresan will Attend Georgetown

A few months back it was reported that Syracuse had offered George Muresan a spot as a preferred walk-on. Today, it was announced that Muresan would attend Georgetown (BOO!) as a preferred walk-on. Muresan is a 6-foot-9 power forward, and is the son of former NBA player and movie star, Gheorghe Muresan.

Muresan is an athletic stretch four, that could still be growing. If he ends up growing a few more inches it will be interesting to see if he gets minutes at Georgetown, and if not, will he transfer?

2017 Target, Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree Cuts List

Cosby-Roundtree is a 6-foot-8 power forward from Philadelphia. Cosby-Roundtree is teammates with fellow Syracuse target, Quade Green. He is one of many targets for Syracuse in the class of 2017. It will be interesting to see whether or not the Orange choose to pursue him.

Boeheim and McNamara to Visit Lonnie Walker

Earlier in the week it was reported by Scout's Ben Sigel, that Jim Boeheim and Gerry McNamara will visit class of 2017 prospect, Lonnie Walker. Walker is a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Reading, Penn. Syracuse has yet to offer Walker, but he already holds offers from the likes of Oregon, Indiana, and Villanova. Walker is a rated a four-star prospect by ESPN and Rivals, while both Scout and 24/7 gave him a five-star rating.

Priority Target Naz Reid to Announce Top 10

Naz Reid is a 6-foot-8 power forward that attends Roselle Catholic in New Jersey. Roselle Catholic also produced current Syracuse players Tyler Roberson, and Malachi Richardson also attended the school briefly. Reid is a consensus five-star product in the class of 2018. Reid is an incredible prospect that can play out of the post, handle the ball, and shoot. Reid has been to campus already and visited for Jim Boeheim's Elite Camp.

Battle Sinks Crazy Shot

Tyus Battle is already signed and will enroll at Syracuse in the fall. He had a good season for his St. Joseph's prep, his high school in New Jersey. His efforts earned him Gatorade Player of the Year in the state.

With the left hand too! They didn't want to put money on it though @breety5 knows the deal...
