Fresh off a trip to the Final Four, Syracuse Orange guard Michael Gbinije switches gears to his NBA Draft hopes. As a fifth-year senior, he's out of eligibility, so he can go ahead and sign with an agent well before the late-May deadline. He's decided to go with some pretty high-profile representation.
As announced on his Twitter feed and Roc Nation's Instagram page, he's officially on-board with the talent agency's sports arm. Roc Nation, owned by Jay-Z, represents plenty of big basketball names including Kevin Durant, Justise Winslow, Caris LaVert, Willie Cauley-Stein and Skylar Diggins (among others). The agency also works with Dez Bryant, Yoenis Cespedes, Todd Gurley, Miguel Cotto, Robinson Cano and more in other sports.

Gbinije appears to be a second-round pick by most draft boards, though there's plenty of workouts to be had and evaluations to be written up on him and every prospect in advance of the June 25 NBA Draft. If Gbinije is selected at all, it'll make the fifth straight year that at least one Orange player has been drafted -- just the second time (1989-1993) that's happened in program history.
