Syracuse MBB vs. Florida State / No. 17 Syracuse WBB vs. No. 7 Louisville GameThread

Just like that, a big day for Syracuse Basketball got bigger.

Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

We already knew that today was going to be an important day for Syracuse Orange basketball. After last night, it's that much bigger.

The Syracuse men's team is playing for critical ACC Tournament seeding as well as trying to cement their spot in the NCAA Tournament when they take on the Florida State Seminoles in Tallahassee. Opening tip is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and the game will be televised on ESPN2. SU is gunning for their 20th win on the season and hope it's a repeat of the first time they played the Noles. Most of us think they'll get it done.

At 2:30 p.m., the No. 17 Syracuse women's team will try to keep their ACC Tournament momentum going as they take on the No. 7 Louisville Cardinals in the semifinals. The game will be televised on ESPNU. The Cardinals were the last team that SU lost to before embarking on their current ten-game winning streak and they'll be looking to avenge that. Win today and they'll play for the ACC Title on Sunday.
