It's payback time for Florida State. However, I think that Syracuse will be a little too desperate to avoid finding out what happens to them should they suffer a loss in this game. If Syracuse is to win, they'll have to take care of the ball and make sure FSU doesn't get out in transition too often. They also have to contain the athletic frosh duo of Dwayne Bacon and Malik Beasley, something they did pretty well the first time around. Come on, gotta go Orange in this one.

I think Florida State wins at home behind the play of Dwayne Bacon and Xavier Rathan-Mayes. Syracuse will play well defensive but struggle to shoot the ball. Ultimately Florida State will do just enough to edge Syracuse for the win.

I don't think Syracuse will shoot over 60% this time, but I also don't think they will commit 20 turnovers either. At this point, it's easy to assume every Syracuse game will come right down to the end, and I think experience is the difference. Look for the Orange to survive and leave Florida with a crucial win.

A few weeks ago, this was a game I had penned in as a loss for Syracuse. But the Orange are a straight-up better team than the Seminoles, and on the road, I see SU coming away with a victory. Against a team that struggles to defend the 3-pointer, look for Trevor Cooney, Michael Gbinije and Malachi Richardson to have some pretty considerable success beyond the arc.

It's not like the Orange is going to shoot 62 percent from the field again, but I don't think last month's easy win against Florida State was a coincidence. The Seminoles aren't a great rebounding team and it's top two scorers are freshman guards, while SU has two of the most experienced and best defensive guards in the ACC. The Orange just matches up well.

Since the last time these two teams have played, they've both been trending in opposite directions. The Orange have lifted themselves up and gotten back NCAA Tournament status while the Noles immediately went on a five-game losing streak and are just trying to keep their heads above water. While it's a road game, I think SU has enough to sweep the season series and take momentum into the ACC Tournament. Hopefully at least two Orange shooters show up.
How about you?
