The Syracuse Orange suffered a close loss to North Carolina on Monday. So now we regroup, turn our eyes to Florida State and the postseason.
In this week's episode, John Cassillo and Dan Lyons offer a recap of the North Carolina game and a preview of this weekend's finale with Florida State. We also chat extensively about the NCAA Tournament, plus spring football, and some beer, of course. Some of the larger talking points:
- So, Michigan State's probably headed back to the Final Four...
- Syracuse's postseason hopes are dead if Michael Gbinije's the one and only option
- What's the ceiling for the Orange's NCAA Tournament seeding?
- Evaluating SU's hybrids and their various fits within Dino Babers's offense
- America loves bluebloods winning college sports championships
- Projecting teams that the Orange would struggle with in the Tourney
- Want more beer? Follow John and Dan on Untappd!
Plan accordingly: This podcast just over an hour. There's plenty of basketball talk over the course of the first 50 minutes or so. Then football, for those that would prefer that (or like it as well).
