The Syracuse Orange women's basketball team has already accomplished so much this season. They reached their highest regular-season ranking in school history. They made it to the ACC Tournament finals. They earned a 4-seed in the NCAA Tournament and hosted two games. They advanced to the Sweet Sixteen for the first time. The defeated the 33-1 South Carolina Gamecocks, considered one of the favorites to reach the title game.
Why not add one more bullet point to the best season in Syracuse women's hoops history?
The 4-seed Orange take on the 7-seed Tennessee Volunteers at 3:30 p.m. in Sioux Falls for the right to go to the Final Four. The game will be televised on ESPN.
The Vols are a bit like the Syracuse men's program this year. They entered the tournament after a disappointing regular season but have come alive at the right time. This isn't Pat Summit's Tennessee but they're still good, returning to the Elite Eight for the third time in four years and 28th time ever.

If the Orange do win, you might have to give a little credit to Jim Boeheim, though don't tell Coach Q that.
