NCAA Tournament: Carmelo Anthony Goes Full DJ Khaled Watching Syracuse Defeat Gonzaga

The former Orange got just as excited as you did last night when the Orange topped the Bulldogs.

Carmelo Anthony technically spent about seven total months at Syracuse University, but what he did while here and the bond he's maintained over the years as a member of the Syracuse Orange family make him a true standard-bearer for the program.

So it's no surprise that the New York Knicks star made sure he was watching the Orange when they took on the Gonzaga Bulldogs in the 2016 Sweet Sixteen on Friday night. When it was all over and SU had pulled off another victory en route to the Elite Eight, he celebrated much like you and I did. Assuming that you or I spouted a lot of DJ Khaled quotes while doing it.

He's got a point. They didn't want us to win. But we did.
