NCAA Tournament 2016: Sweet 16 & Elite 8 Midwest Regional Tickets Now Available

Want to join the Orange in Chicago?

Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

The Syracuse Orange are headed to the Sweet 16, and if you want to join the team in Chicago for the Midwest Regional semifinals and (potentially) final, tickets are now on sale to the general public. If you elect to buy through Syracuse Athletics, you can do so for as little as $260 per seat for the upper level (maximum of four). If the price seems a bit steep, at least that ticket does get you into both games on Friday evening, as well as Sunday's game too.

Syracuse's Sweet 16 matchup with the 11th-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs tips off around 9:40 p.m. ET on Friday, March 25 at Chicago's United Center. Should the Orange pull off the win, they'll face the winner of the early game between the No. 1 Virginia Cavaliers and No. 4 Iowa State Cyclones. Syracuse lost a tough game to Virginia less than a month to go, by a score of 59-47.

Tickets are also available through the NCAA (much pricier) or third-party resellers, which might be the way to go for a small bit of savings. The Chicago area has a pretty sizeable Orange contingent, so a decent turnout could be expected for Jim Boeheim's squad. You'd think Gonzaga's the least likely to bring fans along of those left in the Midwest region, with Iowa State being the most likely given its proximity.

If you're in the market to head to Sioux Falls, S.D. and see the Syracuse women's team in action for the Sweet 16, you can also buy those tickets through the same link. Those are going for $25 per seat for Friday's game against South Carolina, then a separate $17 for the potential Sunday regional final.
