Syracuse Orange junior Alexis Peterson has now been named to the All-ACC 1st-team for the second-consecutive year. Peterson has been the most consistent player on the team all season long and is being honored for that.

The junior point guard has started every game for the Orange this year and led the team in scoring 12 times this season, which is tied for the most with senior Brianna Butler. She also lead the team in assists 19 times this season. On the year she's averaging 14.5 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 5.2 APG, and 2.5 SPG.

Her best games came against Fordham (25 points, eight assists), North Carolina (22 points, six assists), Duke (17 points, 13 assists), and Georgia Tech (22 points, four assists).

Peterson and the Orange will have a chance to add to their great season when they kick off postseason play in the quarterfinals of the 2016 ACC Tournament on Friday, March 4 at 8:00 p.m.
