Friday was a very good day for Syracuse Orange basketball fans. The men's team blew out the Dayton Flyers and then the women's team dominated the Army Black Knights. As such, they both get to play again on Sunday for the right to head to the Sweet Sixteen.
For the men's squad, they'll be playing a surprising opponent, the No. 15 Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders, who upset the Michigan State Spartans. Good thing SU brought the white uniforms with them. The Orange and Blue Raiders will tip at 6:10 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on TNT.
As for the women, they too will face a different opponent than they might have expected. The Albany Great Danes upset 5-seed Florida before SU played and now the two will battle it out Upstate NY-style. They'll play much earlier in the day at Noon and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
So this time you can attend the SU women's game in the Dome and then head out to the bar to watch the men's game. Win-win!
