The No. 4 Syracuse Orange will take on the No. 13 Army Black Knights in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Syracuse has also secured home-court advantage for the first two rounds of the NCAAs for the first time. The winner of Syracuse/Army will face the victor of No. 5 Florida and No. 12 Albany. Both games will take place in the Dome, as will the second round game.
Syracuse is in the Sioux Falls Region of the tournament where South Carolina is the No. 1 seed. Last season the Gamecocks defeated the Orange in the second round of the tournament. This year SU may take on South Carolina in the Sweet 16 if everything goes well.
Syracuse's first round game against Army is on Friday at 2:30 pm. You can catch it on ESPN2, directly following Syracuse men's basketball's first-round game against Dayton.
