2016 Selection Sunday Open Thread: Will Syracuse Get in to the NCAA Tournament?

It's finally time to find out if the Orange will make it to the 2016 NCAA Tournament.

It's been a while since the Syracuse Orange have gone into a Selection Sunday without knowing for sure if they'll be participating in the NCAA Tournament.

Gonna be honest, it's more fun to know. But, such is Syracuse.

The Selection Show begins at 5:30 p.m. ET with a two-hour broadcast (necessary?) that can be seen on CBS and NCAA.com.

The Syracuse Orange are hoping to see their name included in the 68 teams selected but its a bit of a toss-up right now. Bracketologists seem firmly split on whether or not SU's 19-13 record will be enough to get them in and even then they seem destined for the play-in game.

If they don't get selected, the Orange will have to wait to find out what the deal is in the NIT. The NIT Selection Show will begin at 8:30 p.m. ET and be televised on ESPNU.

Hopefully, we don't have to worry about that second one.
