Syracuse enters the game 4-0 after a 14-13 victory over ACC rival Virginia last weekend. St. John’s, meanwhile, enters the game at 1-5. The Storm picked up their first win of the season on the 5th over Siena but weren't able to pull off the upset of Yale on Tuesday, losing 13-8.
The two schools have played nine times since 1990 and the Orange have won them all. SU won last year's contest 14-6.
This game could be considered, ironically, the quiet before the storm. SU follows this game with matches against No. 11 Johns Hopkins, No. 7 Duke and No. 2 Notre Dame.
Jim has a big-ol' preview of the game and Johnnies right here. Give it a read.
