Syracuse Footballl Recruiting: JUCO Cornerback Michael Moore Commits to Orange

Syracuse football just landed their second transfer.

Junior College cornerback Michael Moore plans to transfer to Syracuse after visiting the school over the weekend, he announced on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.

The junior college-transfer recorded three interceptions and 10 deflected passes in his lone season at Palomar College in California. He has three more years of eligibility remaining.

Moore is the second post-National Signing Day addition by Syracuse, joining graduate transfer Gabe Sherrod who announced his decision to transfer from Delaware State Sunday. Moore stands at 6' 2" and 180 pounds, and will be one of the tallest defensive backs on the roster.

Moore will have to work to crack the starting lineup, however, as the Orange return three cornerbacks with starting experience: redshirt junior Corey Winfield, and redshirt sophomores Juwan Dowels and Cordell Hudson. Redshirt senior Wayne Morgan and incoming Class of 2016 recruit Carl Jones will also be in the mix.
