Syracuse picked up yet another solid win this season Thursday night in the Dome. The Orange completely outmatched the Clemson Tigers to pick up their 17th win this season and their seventh in the ACC. SU is in fifth place in the ACC. The struggling Tigers on the other hand are now 0-9 in the ACC and 4-18 overall. Syracuse came in with confidence, expecting to win, and got the job done, winning 83-62.

Syracuse played a great game on both sides of the ball. Perhaps the most impressive stat is that the Orange forced 33 turnovers. They average around 25 per game, which is the most in the ACC and second nationally. The Orange were on their A-game defensively again and it showed.

On the other end of the floor, Syracuse grabbed 23 offensive rebounds. That means SU rebounded about 43 percent of all the shots they took. The incredible effort on the offensive glass led to 21 second-chance points and 28 more field goal attempts. Those are great indicators of how SU dominated this game.

Briana Day and Brittney Sykes grabbed eight rebounds each, tied for most on the team. Six of Briana Day's rebounds were on the offensive end. Brianna Butler led all scorers with 17 points. She made five three-pointers. Butler also secured five steals from Clemson. Alexis Peterson had a magnificent game too, scoring 15 points and eight assists.

Syracuse's next game is at home against Georgia Tech on Sunday, February 2 p.m. ET. It will be broadcast on ESPN3. Georgia Tech is 4-6 in the ACC and 14-9 overall.
