The bruising Pittsburgh native decided to take his talents to the Orange.

Jo-El Shaw is the only true running back in the Orange's class of 2016. The former Western Michigan commit is a bruising runner, who seeks out contact and will run defenders over. The commitment of Shaw could see the return of the "Tank Package" as it was called when the Orange had Adonis-Ameen Moore.

Player Breakdown: When first watching Shaw's tape, it's clear that he is a big time downhill runner. He likes to run North-South and would rather run over an opposing defender rather than making the defender miss. Shaw appears to have decent speed, and he is a good blocker in the back field. He will need to work on his quickness, but his physicality is what will always be his bread and butter. Shaw could develop into a Delone Carter type running back. He could be a big physical every-down back, despite not being all that quick.
