The Syracuse Orange need to bounce back from a rough loss to Louisville and they'll look to do so against the hated Pittsburgh Panthers. Can they start a new winning streak and set themselves up for solid ACC Tournament seeding?

Syracuse 73 - Pitt 68
Last time these two teams met, Pittsburgh was able to pull away late and escape with a 72-61 win. However, Syracuse was led by assistant head coach Mike Hopkins at the time. Now, with Jim Boeheim at the helm, expect a different result. Coming off of a crushing lopsided loss to Louisville, Syracuse should be re-energized and motivated. Look for Syracuse’s 2-3 zone to slow down Michael Young and Pittsburgh’s high-powered offense, and for the Orange to take advantage of a lackluster Panthers defense just enough to come away with the close win.

Syracuse 68 - Pitt 60
Syracuse will bounce back after their loss to Louisville. Malachi Richardson and Tyler Lydon will get back on track and will shoot the ball well. The Orange really could use this win, due to North Carolina still lingering on the schedule. They need to win 2 out of these last four games against Pitt, NC St, UNC, and Florida St. All in all I expect the Orange to get back on track against Pitt and grind out a nice win.

Syracuse 77 - Pitt 72
The Orange struggled against Pitt the last time around, but Boeheim wasn't on the sidelines and this team was not the team it is now. Coming off of a big loss to Louisville the Orange will be looking to bounce back to their winning ways. This one won't be easy as both teams are looking to pick up wins to enhance their résumé for a tournament bid, but ultimately I think that having Boeheim on the sideline and this team looking completely different than they did the first time around makes the difference and SU will squeak by with a win in the Carrier Dome.

Syracuse 73 - Pitt 71
A lot has changed since the last time these teams played when the offensive rebounding of Pitt was the difference. I don't think the Panthers will have the same success on the boards in the Dome, but Syracuse is going to have to make a concerted effort to get everyone on the glass. I think Syracuse will turn in a better shooting performance and squeak out an important win.

Syracuse 72 - Pitt 69
I would normally pick Pitt in this game given the Panthers’ size and how terribly they outrebounded the Orange in Pittsburgh (42-22). Michael Young is Pitt’s leader on offense and could easily be this game’s Chinanu Onuaku, but I think Jim Boeheim made sure Wednesday was a wake up call for the Orange. It’ll be a close one throughout, but the big game atmosphere in the Dome gets Syracuse the win in front of what should be one of the bigger crowds of the season.

Syracuse 68 - Pitt 65
It's Syracuse - Pitt. It's gonna be ugly. There's gonna be fouls. There's gonne be calls from the ref that you'll hate. Someone's gonna take over with three-pointers. Preferably it'll be Syracuse.
Now it's your turn...
