Typically, organizations toss out bad news late in the afternoon, on a Friday before a holiday weekend. This isn't bad news at all. Yet, the ACC treated it as such today.
The 2016-17 and 2017-18 ACC men's basketball home and away opponents have been announced.
The Syracuse Orange worked up this nice-looking graphic to make it easier for you to see it all at once. Check that out below.

Over the course of our first three seasons of ACC play, the two-time opponents have been a double-edged sword. On the one hand, two fixed (probably wins) against Boston College are nice (except when they ruin a 25-game win streak). On the other, two guaranteed games against Pitt has been a frustrating endeavor. Previous rotating two-time opponents include: Florida State and North Carolina (this year), Duke and Virginia Tech (2014-15), and Duke and Miami (2013-14). None of those options were particularly easy on either end, so Tech/Louisville and Wake/UVa future splits at least seem a bit more manageable than that.

Dates will be announced later on, but if you wanted to look forward to any conference opponents well in advance of the next two seasons, this was for you.
