Rivalry: 6-1, Syracuse

Current Streak: 2, SU

First Meeting: Billy Gabor poured in 32 points as the Orangemen crushed the Terriers 73-46 in 1946.

Last Meeting: John Wallace led the way with 17 points as Syracuse topped BU 89-70 in the Dome.

Head Coaches: SU: Jim Boeheim (41st Year, 990-345), Boston: Jon Jones (6th Year, 93-77)

Last Year: BU finished last season 19–15 overall and 11–7 in Patriot League play. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League Tournament to American and were invited to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament. There, they beat Fordham in the first round but lost in the second round to NJIT.

Last Game: After a hot start the Terriers have come back down to earth. They lost their fourth game in a row, this one an 87-77 defeat to Canisius, on Wednesday.

"Fear Me, I've Killed Hundreds of Timelords": Senior guard Eric Fanning seems to be the guy we want to keep an eye on the most. He leads the team with 14.8 points and is second with 5.5 rebounds. As for the guy most likely to have a career-night from three-point range, that’s Cheddi Mosely.

If Syracuse Wins: We’l continue to beat the teams we’re supposed to beat. Now about beating the teams on our level...

If Syracuse Loses: You’ll probably want to tune in to local drive-time sports talk radio because it’s gonna be a show.

Fun Fact: This may be the best basketball team from Boston we face this year.
