Syracuse Orange freshman Tyus Battle was spotted on Friday wearing a walking boot at Destiny USA in Syracuse, a source told TNIAAM.
The news was confirmed via Matthew Moyer’s snapchat which shows a picture of Tyus in the boot.

Despite all of this, SU Athletics spokesman Pete Moore told TNIAAM that Tyus hasn’t missed a practice and is available to play in the Orange’s ACC opener against Boston College on Sunday.
Battle started his first game on December 3 against North Florida. He scored a career-high 19 points in 36 minutes of action. The Orange won, 77-71.
Battle then started games against UConn and Boston University before John Gillon replaced him after he was sidelined for a week of practice with a foot injury. He played a limited role off the bench in SU’s loss to Georgetown before scoring 18 against Eastern Michigan.
Gillon also started in Syracuse’s 33-point loss to St. John’s, however Battle returned to the starting lineup on December 27 in Syracuse’s 80-56 victory over Cornell.
Battle has continued to downplay this injury, although it seems as if it’s not going away.
