It's been six days since the Syracuse Orange's blowout loss to St. John's, and we probably don't feel much better about the season now than we did then. Sure, the holidays have helped take our mind off things. But there's no denying the task at hand for an Orange team that's backed itself into quite the corner as non-conference play wraps up.
They'll try to inspire some hope again tonight at the Carrier Dome against the Cornell Big Red at 7 p.m. ET. If you're not there in-person, you'll be watching on RSN -- which is the YES Network for a bunch of folks in the New York area.
Syracuse owns the all-time advantage against Cornell by a whopping 90-31 margin. They've won 36 consecutive matchups dating back all the way to 1968. Let's pray that streak doesn't come to an end tonight.
- Despite how dire things look right now, Syracuse still has 19 opportunities to rewrite the scrip on this season
- This is not an Orange basketball team like you've known before, and that may be a problem
- What do we want to see from SU in 2017? It starts with this game setting the tone as we move forward...
