Syracuse vs. NC State: Eric Dungey practiced Tuesday but status remains unknown

Stephen Bailey reports that the injured QB was back at practice, though exactly what he was doing was unclear.

Dino Babers isn't saying anything regarding the availability and health of Syracuse Orange sophomore quarterback Eric Dungey. Others, however, are talking a little bit about how Dungey is doing following a headshot that knocked him out of the Clemson Tigers loss last weekend.

Both Zaire Franklin and Amba Etta-Tawo told Stephen Bailey that Dungey participated in practice on Tuesday, though they didn't clarify specifically what that meant.

Meanwhile, safety Kielan Whitner, who is Dungey's roommate, told Bailey that the quarterback is "fine" and was in classes so far this week.

Of course, none of that really tells us too much about Dungey's status for the upcoming N.C. State game on Saturday, but it does seem to imply that Eric's season isn't at least isn't over yet. Of course, we've learned not to lean too much in any direction when it comes to injuries the extent of which are unknown.

Given that Babers and SU are not going to talk about injuries, we can assume we won't have any real updates until Thursday when the injury report comes out. It's possible that Babers won't even tip his hand for that, but even if Dungey is listed as questionable, that will be something.
