You know what time it is! The TNIAAM staff gathered ‘round for another edition of, well, predictions and polls and stuff. This volume features the game between the Syracuse Orange and Wisconsin Badgers. So what did we think will happen in tonight’s match-up?
Andrew Godnick
Syracuse 62 - Wisconsin 58
Road games are never easy, especially when they are against a ranked opponent. The Orange are coming off of a tough loss, one where they got beat down in all areas of the game. A bounce back win against Wisconsin would be a great way to move on from the loss. Tyler Lydon seems to be back, it's just a matter of if everyone wants to join in. A win here, and the loss against South Carolina could and would be forgotten for a little while.

I don't think the Orange are going to completely fix the issues that cost them against South Carolina, but I don't think it's doom and gloom should they lose in Madison. This is a very good Badgers team and their ability to control tempo will test the patience of the Syracuse team. If Syracuse wants to land a huge road win, they will need to control the boards and limit their turnovers.

#DISLOYAL!!!
I think a veteran Wisconsin team handles its business at home. Syracuse gave up 30 points in the paint to South Carolina on Saturday — that’s a harbinger of things to come for a front-court of Nigel Hayes, Ethan Happ and Vitto Brown. Syracuse will get solid production from Lydon for the second game in a row but ultimately the Orange lose the rebounding battle and give up too many second chance buckets and too many points in the paint.

I have concerns, you guys. I don't want to say SU loses just to be reactionary to the South Carolina loss. But at the same time, that game has to give you pause, right? Even good Orange teams usually lose in bunches and this has all the markings of a trouble game. The big issue is whether or not multiple SU players can string together a solid game at the same time, which is forever an issue for this team. If they can, we can win. If it's more of the same, yuck.
