If the Syracuse Orange want to secure a bowl game for sure, they'll need to win two of their final three games this season. Of the three, today's against the North Carolina State Wolfpack might be their best shot, so they better take advantage of it.
Action kicks off in the Carrier Dome at 12:30 p.m. and the game will be televised on the ACC Network (local affiliates here).
Syracuse's mission will be a bit tougher with the news that sophomore quarterback Eric Dungey will be out. SU officially made the announcement in the morning as now we'll wait to see if Austin Wilson or Zack Mahoney gets the nod. Or perhaps they split it.
- Both teams come in at 4-5 but they got here in very different ways.
- The Orange will be wearing special helmets for Military Appreciation Day as well as platinum jerseys and blue pants.
- Read the Q&A with Backing The Pack for some inside info on NCSU.
- Get up to speed on the Wolfpack, the rivalry, and how to watch the game.
- Know thw five most important things that will impact the game.
- We were fairly split on the outcome of the game, though the loss of Dungey downgrades some of our best guesses.
