Dungey was listed as questionable on Thursday’s injury report, after Babers revealed the sophomore quarterback was undergoing unspecified ‘testing.’
Dunger was forced out of last Saturday’s game against Clemson after suffering a hard hit to the head-and-neck area during the final minutes of the first quarter. He was taken into the locker room for an evaluation before returning to the sidelines and watching the remainder of the game in street clothes.
Backup Austin Wilson entered the game in Dungey’s place and completed 17-of-27 passes for 116 yards and two interceptions. Mahoney replaced Wilson in the final minutes, completing one pass for eight yards.
