The Syracuse Orange and Virginia Cavaliers were originally supposed to tangle today. As a massive winter storm moved in on the region, the game was moved to Sunday at 7 p.m. Now, because of airport closures, the Orange will travel on Sunday as well, cutting things a little closer than they're used to.

SU was supposed to travel Saturday but the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport closed to all flights until Sunday at 9 a.m. The team considered flying in to Richmond and busing it over but that airport is closed through the evening as well.
It's unclear at this time which airport the team will fly into. Richmond is about 70 miles away so it will also require an additional 90 minute (give or take) ride.
Will all of this day-of travel have an impact on the Orange? Probably not. It remains be seen just how many fans can make it out to the arena as well so it should make for an interesting scene once everyone does get there.
SU already has enough to worry about without considering flight times. SU comes into the game as a 9-point underdog.
