GameThread: Syracuse Orange (11-7, 1-4) vs. Wake Forest Demon Deacons (10-6, 1-3)

It's the return of the nooner! Your Syracuse Orange (11-7, 1-4) head down to Winston-Salem, N.C. to take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (10-6, 1-3) at noon ET today. The game will be broadcast on the ACC Network and ESPN 3 -- you can find a list of local affiliates carrying the game here.

While TNIAAM's staff seems mildly confident in an Orange victory, even if by the skin of their teeth, Deacs fans and #disloyalidiots have hijacked the poll in our predictions thread to create some gloom-and-doom vibes in advance of tipoff. Given the short turnaround between games for both SU and Wake, neither blog really previewed this game in earnest (sorry!).
